Woooooo! Just opened the package and it’s got a very shiny hologram of the universe on it. Wonder if that’s any indication of how long it will take to install…….

They eat Guinea Pigs in Peru, so beware of Peruvians knocking at your door.
Can we assume that you will load FCP 6 right away and test those waters???

I’m just doing an “Upgrade” on my laptop instead of a clean install since all I do is Mail and internet on this machine. but FCP 6 is installed on here so I’ll let you know if it blows up.

Leopard didn’t take long to load on my MacPro.
Early posters on the the Apple boards say Motion 3 won’t load. I’m installing FCS2 on leopard as I type.

The one big thing I lost was my Junk Mail Filtering for all the spam so I’ll have to reset that. That’s kind of annoying, but I’ll see if I can pull that back off my clone.

I got my copy at 9:30a CST, upgraded my MBP went fine.
Then moved to my Mac Pro, UPGRADE it also. Sata came right up, Kona3 with a 720P project played out just fine. 1080i multicam project played a-ok.
I know this is light testing but off to a good start.
BTW: Both systems were cloned before doing this. Also all external drives are disconnected when I do an upgrade.
Time Machine is a slow copier, looks like about a GB per 3 minutes. I have set an Internal 500GB drive up for Time Machine for the Mac Pro.
Stuff like Mail and Safari is super fast on my MBP.
Two systems upgraded in about 3 hours!
