Hey, I have had great responses in the recent past from this forum so here it goes again. I am looking into buying a used HPX500 and getting an SD lens to go wit hit to start, but I can’t fnd anything about Fujinon lenses and what there different model numbers mean. I did however find a website that broke down Canon lenses and what their numbers and letters mean. I am really just looking for a good/good enough lens to put on a a HPX500 until I make my first million. ;). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also has anyone ever used this 2/3″ to C-mount relay?

Where are you located? A Panasonic dealer would be a good start.

Try this link to Fujinon’s website:

Aaron,, I have the HPX500 also and love it. But alas could not monkey up the change for the CAC HD Lens either.. My engineer says there is no such thing as HD lens. There are just good lenses and really good lenses.

So I am using my old Cannon that came with my Sony DXC35WSL Betacam. It is a 16×9 lens and does a wonderful job..

The only weirdness is with using Cannon rear controllers. The rear controls tend to overide some of the Panasonic 500 ON /Off, STop Record buttons.. So I have to Unplug the rear controller from the lens every now and then to get control of the HPX500.
