If I shoot in raw it is great to have the ability to apply automatic lens corrections with camera raw. The issue is that raw files are huge, and most projects I really would like to save space and shoot in jpeg. I have seen a lot of ways to correct for lens artifacts but none of them is automated with a jpeg file.
This seems strange to me because the info is still cooked into the shot.. I know you can create profiles,l but what if you dont know what lens you used, or you are batching large amounts of images shot on 10 different lenses? Is there a way to auto profile a jpeg? Either in photoshop,CR, or a third party? I do have pt lens but Im pretty sure you have to select the lens. CR is awesome because you just make a batch and press go.
