I remember in the good old days (12 years ago) when a broadcast lens went for $6,000. Now, HD=30,000?
What happeneed? Sure beats the current real estate bubble!!!!

Twelve years is a long time; I’d love to buy a lot of things today at 1993 prices!

I think the last SD lens I bought went for around 22K, and that was long before skyrocketing national deficits and a plummeting US dollar.

Try buying a cup of coffee in London, and you’ll be surprised that equipment prices are as low as they are.

    Good shooting!
