Lens flare
This may sound like a silly question, but what kinds of layers can you add lens flare to? I’m talking about the basic lens flare that comes with AE 7 pro, no fancy plugin. I tried adding it to text, but that didn’t work. When I added it to a solid it showed up, however, I didn’t want the solid to remain visible. I’m sure this is a very easy fix, just getting frustrated.

Change your transfer mode to screen or add on a black solid. or use an adjustment layer.
Then ask yourself why. -

P.S. What time zone are you in, cuz it’s 3:00am for me? Didn’t know you people with jobs stayed up this late 😀
