Lens Filter Choice
I have been using Tiffen Black Pro Mist filters (4×4 with matte box) and would like someone to weigh in on how Schneider’s Black Frost compares with Tiffen..not cost, but how it looks.
I’m using DVcam and Canon lenses, and my interest is diffusion on skin complexion and decreasing contrast on video head shots.

Forget the tiffen black promist try the Tiffen soft effect filters. Available in standard, warm (with 812 warming filter combined) or gold.
My favorite tiffen filters for softening skin tone.
Work wonders on female talent.
