I’ve been asked to compress some lengthy (about one hour) sessions for the web.

I have a number of programs available and can encode to Flash, wmv, QT, and more, but I have not embraced streaming as yet, and this seems like a good occasion to do that. Most of my experience has been with .wmv and much shorter pieces. What would you recommend that I use for these longer videos? If I need to ask my client’s webmaster some questions about hosting and streaming, what exactly is it that I need to know?

    Thanks!

It depends what the client wants to deliver. The encode process is roughly the same as you are used to.
