    Hello Fellow Media Junkies..
We have a strange conundrum. If you open a old project on a machine that was made in FCP ver 6.0.6 will it not open in a machine that has 6.0? We get the dialog box that says the usual “this was made in newer ver of FCP”..We made the assumption it meant 7..But then we realized that it never was opened in 7. Will a update to 6.0.6 on our old power PC (non-intel) machine then allow us to migrate those old projects?
    Thank You
    Matt

Nope. Just update to 6.0.6. No reason not to. Bug fixes and added support galore.

Yup. Simply run the Software Update.

FC.6.0 was the first version. It was full of bugs (FC.6.1 was released very short after) and lacking functions (no XDCAM support).
    Many reasons to update.
