Lectrosonic wireless system
When testing our new lectrosonic wireless system we were shocked to see the batteries drain so fast! (9 volt type)
We purchased the UM400a transmitters and theUCR411a Compact Hybrid Receivers.
The people at lectrosonics said lithiums last the longest and
only energizer alkalines are decent- duracells drain out fast.
We’d prefer to invest in rechargeables if we can afford it.
Internet searches say the ultralife lithium are the best, but they do not recharge.What batteries are the rental houses supplying?
Anyone have any first hand experience with these units.
Any good sources to buy batteries like this?
We are shooting overseas so we will be stuck with what we take.
Any help would be VERY MUCH appreciated!

I have these same units; I use the professional duracells, mostly because they’re less expensive than buying 9V’s sold in retail stores. I would recommend looking at the rechargeable iPower Lithium Polymer batteries. I know Trew Audio has them, as well as a write up about them. Larry Fisher, President of Lectrosonics likes them, too. For $87.00 you get 4 batteries and a 4 bay charger.

I have been using IPower batts in my UM 400s and 411as and LMas, well worth the cost! Last long too.
