    Hey guys and dolls,
I need to create an promo themed to Autumn. I was gonna use some leaves.
I have the image of the leaf but i need to distort its edges/points to make it look more real not just a flat thing. I think this is what best describes what i need to create:

Is there any way I can adjust the points of an image in XYZ axis?

N.B. I have tried doing this in AE using the puppet tool but it doesn’t seem to work for the Z axis. If there is a way in AE i can do it there.

Motion isn’t a 3D modeling program. AE’s puppet tool is the closest thing you can get from either of these programs to a 3D look. There are tricks with lighting and motion to help 2D objects look more 3D, but if they need to be scrutinized that closely, you need to try maya or cinema 4d or another 3D modeling program.

In AE CS5 there is the included Free Form which can distort 2d layers in 3d space.
