    Hi,

I want to learn FXScript, with the intention of making a specific plugin. I’m aware of the website https://www.fxscriptreference.org/, and it seems like it would be an excellent resource for those who can already use fxscript, but for someone looking to getting started… I was hoping people might be able to recomend some tutorials that would get me started.

I’m specifically hoping to make a filter that can measure the YUV channels, and mark a clip when the change from one frame to another exceeds set parameters. I’m hoping this would allow an editor working with fast cut footage to gauge whether it will have to be clamped too hard in the online so as to not be useable. I’m sort of amazed it doesn’t exist already.

If anyone reading this has any idea how that work, I’d be very appreciative! Any plugin that I make through this will be released for all to use, obviously.

    Best wishes,

    Michael

Go to the Factory, FXFactory that is. https://www.noiseindustries.com. With the Pro version, you have access to manipulate and create your own FX.
