learning a 2nd compositing program.What would it be?
Hi guys
Im looking at adding another string to my bow. I am a freelance compositor and know After Effects very well, but i am being asked more and more if i know another compositing program, such as shake and combustion. I can’t say im being asked about one more than the other, but it is leading me to realise that my skills in AE, can only get me so far.
I currently work freelance for small-med sized production companies and i would love to get into film and work on some big name films. Having said that, what do you reccommend i learn as a 2nd compositing program? I have a pc, but would purchase a Mac, if people believe that Shake is the way to go.

Never used shake, but have ahad a chance to use Combustion more than once. I loved it. I very powerful, solid application. If I were to learn any other 2D app, I definitely be leaning towards Combustion.
AE can only get you so far? Is this blasphemy I hear?!
