Leaf growing from a vine using 3D stroke
Hello, me again! I have a “vine” that I created in 3D stroke. I animated the “end” so the vine grows on and I use the comp camera to follow the progress. I precomped a stem and a leaf that I have growing out of the vine at one spot but it was teadious. I had to animate the position of the precomp in 3d space to have it stay attached to the vine. I would like many leaves to grow out of the vine. Any suggestions?

Can you change the anchor point of the leaves, so its at the base, and then animate it to the path?
Throw a scale expression on it linking it to the growth of the stroke?Reminds me of good ol’ xfrog, where you want the growing leaf to ‘inherit’ the growth of the vine.
