Laying in clips via timecode
Hi,
Looking for a feature in Premiere to help sync some footage from a shoot. Ideally, there ought to be some feature that lays out clips in a sequence with the timecode so that multiple shots on one cam can be in a sequence and segmented out across the day.
For example…the shoot in question was 2 REDS and a Sound Devices recorder. We were without the proper cableis to lock timecode or send audio for sync. We set timecode loosely by hand across the three and so now, even though there are 10 audio clips and 30 takes on one camera, there ought to be a way to lay them all in a sequence.
So while multi-cam is great for syncing across devices I’m looking for a tool in Premiere to sync timecode in a sequence for just one camera, inserting gaps where not recording.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
