  • Layers not interacting correctly in 3D cam environment

I have created a 3 dimensional box that represents a television using a camera layer and the 3D layer option. I have an arched title that needs to go directly above and in the middle of the television , I also have an object directly behid the t.v. When I orbit from the left to the right side of the square, the layers do not interact properly. I have tryied changing the ordering of the layers with no luck. I have also tried putting adjustment layers between layers. I am unsure as to what the solution may be.

Can you provide more details? How are the layers misbehaving?

Ideally, if you can post the AEP file and link to it here, that would help a lot.

I don’t have the first idea on how to link a project, at least where to host an ae file.

I’m trying to pan or orbit from one side of square to the other, left to right, and sides of the cube are disappearing depending on the layering order, the main trouble i am having is with the arched text since it overlapse the right and left side of the cube. It’s going right into the middle of the side of the cube when it’s clearly been placed above it. Hard to explain. This is probably something that would have to be seen,it’s 13 layers so far. I’m new at the camera, or at least trying to create 3d objects encorporated with 2d.

Try drop.io. Goto “File: Collect Files…” and zip the resulting folder.

Otherwise, can you post stills or a quicktime?
