    Layers freezing on preview

    please help,

    When I try to RAM preview my project, layers freeze. I have a few quicktime files in my composition and they play for a certain amount of time then stop. The quicktime files are from Video Copilots EVOLUTION package.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated,

    hmm maybe I didn’t explain my problem as well as I could have.

    I have a timeline with about 6 layers of 1400 x 1400 quicktime clips (large files, very likely the source of the problem) while RAM previewing my timeline, some of them freeze halfway, and then won’t play. From them on things get very glitchy and changes I make to my project don’t show up in my viewer.

    I have the same problem sometimes with some layers with video footage.
    My solution when it happens, go to Edit menu>Purge>All
    and it reset all video memory cache, or something like that who is the possible problem.
