I realise I’ve got a few posts running, but I have a print deadline and can’t spend hours looking for the answers, the manual is confusing me a bit.

Excuse my dumbness, the manual sort of explains it, but I can’t quite grasp how to layer textures/materials in c4d. I have a black leather texture wrapped round a cylinder. I need some gold metallic type and logos to sit on the leather, and be shiny looking and embossed. I’d rather avoid modelling these elements seperately. Can anyone enlighten me or point me in the direction of a good tutorial?

    Thanks again

    Texture Tags
-Left is the bottom, any texture tag to the right is above
-a texture tag to the right will be above and if it’s texture has an alpha channel that will let the bottom texture show through
-for embossing try subpoly displacement in the ‘above’ texture, match it to the labels etc.
