    Hi,
I have a psd with about 20 layers. Each is a logo used in a sequence. I”ve imported this file as a sequence into premiere, so that I’d have each logo separately to use as needed. All is fine. When I change the original files (for example add 2 new logos on 2 new layers), and save it – some of the files in premiere are now linked to a wrong layer. For example. I have 4 layers – Logo 1, 2, 3, 4. I import this into premiere. When I later add logos, 5, 6 to the psd – the links in premiere are wrong. Logo 3 (still says logo 4) might be linked to logo 2. If I take it offline, and relink, it still links to the wrong layer. Anyone have any idea around this??

    Michael,

The short answer is you cannot add layers to a PSD that has already been imported as a sequence without breaking the linking.

Your life will probably be a lot easier if you simply create a new PSD of the new elements and import them either as sequences or one layer at a time.
