    Hi There.

I just exported a wavefront .obj file from Blender.

Is there any way of layer mapping to imported 3D objects in invig?

    Cheers

    Hi Justin,

Yes, if the imported object already includes uv coordinates. If you wish to apply separate texture maps to different parts of an object, you’ll have to break up the model in your 3D modeling app, before importing the pieces into Invigorator.

    Awesome. Thanks Jon.

I found a very complex .obj model from the net to test, and imported it into invig. In invig i was able to list all the different parts of the model, and layer map them individually. My only problem is……. the .obj i create are not in bits, but appear as one big object, and layer mapping doesn’t work on these.

Hope i can find an answer.

It could just be the way i export it from blender 3D

    Cheers
