    Hi All,

We layed back to tape yesterday and when we double checked the end we noticed we were one frame off. mysterious.

here’s the question – we strip the tape and then on the timeline marked an ‘in’ point. copied this time code and pasted in the lower left hand box of the edit to tape window. then assemble

i’m going to run a test next time i’m in there, but would it make sense that i should mark the timeline 1 frame earlier than the frame in the edit to tape window as the ‘in’ mark is a frame before when it actually starts?

    thanks,
    dave

What type of set up are you using? Deck, card, source footage, timecode base?

I have the same issue with HDCam decks. No problem with digi beta. I trim the in frame in the edit to tape box 1 frame to fix it.
