    Hi all,

I’m pretty new to lav mics, and I’ll appreciate some advice on the best way to hide the mics on a running couple, and the best way to avoid unwanted noise and wind.

    Thanks a lot!
    🙂

This video has some interesting techniques….

Keep in mind that there may be NO acceptable solution, given the circumstances and resources at hand. In difficult situations like that, more likely than not, the dialog you hear in prime-time TV and feature films was not captured in real-time from microphones on the actors. Those scenes are commonly “looped” or “replaced” with dialog recorded in a nice sound studio.

    Thanks Richard!

I actually saw this video and it was very helpful, but I couldn’t find any good explanations on how to reduce noise while the subject is running, or for example 2 people with lav mics hugging etc.. for examples shows like “the amazing race” or “survivor”…
