Latest workflow advice for exporting for pro sound mix
It’s been a while since I looked into this and I’m sure a lot has changed so what is the latest workflow advice for exporting from FCPX for a pro sound mix? Best plugins best practices best software that sings with FCPX? Any advice much appreciated

For ProTools, use X2Pro. Be sure to turn off the preference to discard disabled clips as it can cause issues. Marquis is aware of this bug but hasn’t fixed it.
You can also setup a Share menu so that you share a timeline XML straight to X2Pro which is handy: https://www.x2pro.net/Pages/sharing-directly-from-fcp-x-to-x2pro.html

I just used X2Pro for a Nat Geo documentary and it work flawlessly.
