Latest version freezes at Loading ImporterQuickTime.prm
I just built a new computer for 4k editing with a Ryzen 3950x and 32GB of 3200Mhz RAM and a 2060 Super video card, running Win10 Pro. Every time I open Premiere Pro, it freezes at:
Loading ImporterQuickTime.prm for over a minute. Is this fixable? I’ve trawled Google and YouTube but nothing I’ve found there has helped.

Hi,
Could you try to search for ImporterQuickTime.prm in your Adobe application folder and renamed it to ImporterQuickTime.prm.disabled and see now if Premiere Pro is launching ?Also could you try to flush your plugin cache ? Press SHIFT when launching PrPro it’ll popup a confirmation about flushing the plugin cache

See if you have mapped network drives, especially ones that are not reachable.
Remove them. (terminal –> net use X: /delete (X:was is drive letter of the mapped network drive)_
