I can not find a way to check if I have the latest build of Vegas 14. By now there should be updates, but I don’t see how/where to find or get them. Currently I have build 161.

The Build is only a month old? Why do you think a new build should be available?

Because there are so many reported bugs and problems. One would HOPE they would start turning out revisions. But so far there seems no way to get them.

Yes, I have been patiently waiting since version 11 for the GPU acceleration to actually work stably. I diligently upgraded to 12 then 13, but nada. Until that is fixed, I have no compelling reason to cough up another $250+

I would have expected them to rush an update out before the promotional sale ends 10/16 to see if they can get people who tried the trial when it first came out to give it a second chance. I’d happily risk the investment if they could give me a build that could open old projects without immediately crashing.

Rick, I don’t think you interest in an update this soon after a release is unwarranted in this case.

David, good point, but I doubt Magix even thought of it that way, nor are they capable of pulling off a meaningful update in that short period. Despite having a team that has been with Vegas for a while, I now think they are way behind the curve. My faith in Magix Madison has been shattered, by the poor results they delivered.

Nigel, I agree…..it’s their program to license as they please, it’s my money to spend as I please. I please not to spend it with Magix.

    Best Regards……George
