laserjet 5200tn and indesign
laserjet 5200tn, using indesign, everything works fine, until I print “tile” to the printer. The first page comes out correct, but the next page(s) come out at different settings. The problem is that we need the pixels in the gray scale or where we can see the “dots”. the next page comes out “smooth”. Its as if the settings are not holding after the first page. I can send the same file to the LJ 5100 printer and it does fine. On the HP site I found the new updated firmware which in the “fixes” tab column states, “lj5200 with indesign not holding settings after the 1st page”. So one would think that HP is aware of this and states that they have corrected this. NOT. Hp now says its adobe’s problem, adobe says its HP’s problem. So, I’m just getting this issue out with as many forums as possible in the hopes that someone will see this that has had or has seen the problem with a fix.
