  • Larger Timecode Viewer in Final Cut?

Currently the only way to easily view the sequence timecode is by the small numbers to the left of the sequence. Does anyone know of a plug-in out there that lets you adjust the size or create a timecode window to view similar to avid. I know there is a timecode reader and generator plug-in but that only shows up over the video. I’d like a separate window.

Its not a plug-in but, If you can, get a Mackie Control Surface. The timecode is displayed on nice bright red LED’s, and stays in sync with FCP via USB to MIDI interface. In addition to flying faders and RT mixing, you also gain handy transport controls and jog wheel that works seamlessly with FCP, Soundtrack, and Logic Pro.

The JL cooper MCS series gives a nice large TC display as well.
