Activity Forums VEGAS Pro large size font edges are cut off!

    I’m assuming your text is within the Safe Title area.
    If so, a text sizing trick I learned some time ago is to create it at double the default frame size.
    That means changing it from 720 x 480 to 1440 x 960.
    As long as you don’t zoom, it will still look the same in Vegas (probabbly a bit cleaner around the edges). Zooming in as you did is where the benefits of doing this show up 🙂

    Yes! Your suggestion worked very well! Thanks!

    But I just found out that the reason it was showing a distortion was because I had it Keyed to move across!! Once I took off the Keys it was fine!!! And when I rendered it (with the move) it was fine too!

    Make the text the actual size you want it (even if it doesn’t fit on the screen). Then use the “Positioning” tab on the text generated media to move the text. You don’t need Pan/Crop for this task and the Positioning tab will work like you were expecting.
