Large scale structure of the Universe
Hi,
I am trying to generate the large scale structure of the Universe,
Which effects would you suggest?
I want to zoom out from a view of the Milky Way into a starry background and further and further out until this large scales structure appers.

You could get pretty close to something like this messing with the settings in Fractal Noise (or the similar effect in Red Giant Universe that uses different algorithms).

I have tried fractal noise, but no mater what settings I use it doens’t quite do it. I misses teh connectivity pattern that characterises nervous tissue, for instance.
I keep searching.
