I know that when a rendered project is imported into Architect,it tells you the size of the file and whether or not it will fit on to one standard DVD without recompressing it, and losing some of the quality. Can Vegas Pro 8 provide the same information prior to rendering so that you can make any necessary adjustments before sending the project to Architect? If so, where is that informatiuon displayed? Thanks!

No, but there are lots of free bitrate calculators on the internet that you can use to determine what MPEG-2 bitrate to use based on project length. Just Google for ‘video bitrate calculator’.
