Large Image Sequences drag down Finder
I’m working with 6000+ frame image sequences on a network share and have discovered that OSX doesn’t give a darn about my “preview icon” view preference — it’s building those preview icons no matter what. As a result every time I open a dir w/ the sequence in it, my network use cranks up and the Finder becomes extremely pokey for several minutes.
Anyone else ever run into this? Solutions?

Wireless or hard wired network?
There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.
Don’t let technology get in the way of your creativity!
