large DV file export to h.264
Hello,
Im attempting to export a 5 hour DV-NTSC video, edited on FCP into an h.264 .mov
This seems to be using all the space on my startup disk, and I cant export the full video.
Is this simply a question of getting access to a computer with more available memory on the startup disk? The .mov is being saved to a 500gb free hard drive…

we need a little more information. How are you exporting?
1-via FCP or Compressor, or other means
2-what are your settings? especially the bit rate and frame size.Non-linear: all the time and nothing but.
