In my earlier days I didnt really know how things worked. Which resulted in me having large 10 gig capture files. Now on some of those files only part of the video is used so is there a way to edit the file to just the part that is used and have it still coresspond with the premiere edit. I also have a problem where i have some files that are used throughout the whole project but are still rather large and I would like to break them down so i could burn them off. Is there a way to break the file in half and have the premiere edit still read both files as one? I just dont want to lose any of my edit files during this process.

The Project Manager can do this for you providing you are done editing those large clips.
