Laptop suggestions for GPU support with Movie Studio 12/13 Platinum

I’m very involved with these questions. My limited understanding at this point (changes daily) is that the Sony AVC encoder and the preview functions will work with *some* kepler chipsets – at least the Quadro series. My tests with the GT 680 Ti show that the Sony AVC does not take advantage of that GPU.
MainConcept will NOT take advantage of Kepler, either Quadro or other.

Thank You Steve, so what you are saying is that the GeForce GT 740M because its based on the Kepler architecture will probably not allow Sony Vegas to offload to the GPU? Does anyone have any laptop based video cards they recommend or know that do work with GPU offloading? Thanks
