  Laptop not displaying project in After Effects

  Hi all,
  I have a snazzy new Dell laptop at work that sporadically doesn’t like to cooperate with Adobe After Effects, and sometimes Premeire or Photoshop. Sometimes the program won’t even open, and when it does, I’ll get the control windows, but can’t actually see my video in the window. Sometimes restarting my machine works, other times, not. Any ideas? I’m sure there is some setting conflict somewhere, but I just can’t find it, and neither can our IT contractor. Specs below.

  Dell Latitude E5570
  Intel Core i7
  2.7 GH
  32 GB RAM
  64-bit
