Laptop hardware question with CS3
I am purchasing a laptop to edit up to HDV. I noticed that adobe requires a intel 3.4 ghz processer for HDV. Is a 1.7 GHZ Duo equal to that? Also, will an SATA 5400 suffice for the hard drive?

Is that the only drive in the laptop?? if so it will do as a system drive, most laptops now come with a express card slot, if so get a external eSATA drive, if the laptop doesn’t have a express card slot, you can get a express card 34 eSATA card and a card buss adapter for it. -
