I am getting ready to purchase a new PC laptop and need one with enough to run Premiere Pro and other CS4 programs on. I have heard that it will work ONLY with certain graphics cards but I do not know which.
Mostly I will use Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
I want to be able to do my video editing when I am away from the studio.
What would be best and what will just get by?

I would recommend looking at gaming laptops. They are always loaded with better graphics cards and the higher end processors. It really depends on how much money you are willing to spend.
You can go with any vendor but you really wanna make sure to get enough RAM and the fastest processor you can afford. For around 2,700 bucks you could get a Dell Xps laptop that has the following hardware.
2.6ghz Core Duo
6GB Ram
17 inch screen
500GB HD
NVIDIA® SLI™ Dual GeForce® 9800M GT with 1GB2 GDDR3 MemoryYou could get by with a bit less, but for me when I spend the money I want a system that will last a few years. You could step down the GPU and memory a bit and save some money.
