    Lagarith on Windows Vista

    I am trying to install Lagarith on Windows Vista Premium. I right click on the lagarith.inf file, but lagarith does not show up on rendering options. I searched the net and found that some manually register the .dll and I followed this procedure and lagarith still does not show up in PI. Am I missing something?

    Does Lagarith show up in other applications that save AVIs? If so, I assume you’ve closed particleIllusion and ran it again?

    If it’s not showing in other apps, then I’m not sure what to do — perhaps Vista is preventing it from registering.

    Hi Alan,

    I have Vegas Pro. I just checked and Lagarith is not showing in that application either. It obviously has something to do with Windows Vista.
