lacie fw 800 raid
Thinking of hanging a new Lacie fw800 RAID on my G4 with a new fw800 card. I’d really like this to be able to do SD (8 or 10 bit). Any thoughts out there? Been using an Apple Xserve RAID but that is moving to a new G5.

I have this setup and works perfectly! I have a sony J30SDI and capture digital betacam at 10bit adn the drives work fine.

Great news! Do you do much in the way of effects (dissolve, color correct, multiple layers, etc) and will the drive keep up?
