Lacie D2 500gb copy and paste issue
I’ve been having an issue with transferring my files from my Macbook Pro to my new Lacie 500gb drive. I can see the drive and the contents in the drive, but when I start to transfer files over the drive goes into a sleep like state and the copying symbol just stops transferring. I thought it might had been a corrupted file, but I have a 1tb Lacie drive and that works fine. I drive isn’t set to sleep, but it doesn’t like me transferring files onto the disk. Help please!

Sounds like a bad enclosure… first run disk utility if possible then if you have access to another enclosure try that.
Also you may try a different connection method if you can….
