  labelling files after capturing

  Hi, I use to have a nifty little program that would allow me to import video, from tape, to files.
  I typically would import a few hours of single tape into numerous files, each file labelled yyyy-mm-dd hh-mm-ss any-words-I-liked .avi

  I haven’t figured out how to do this with PPro.
  The capture dialogue asks me for a filename, but oftentimes I’ve no idea other than “given to me by George!”
  And I cant seem to get the timestamp of the footage to automatically be used as the filename.

  Its late. Im tired. Please tell me I’ve just missed something simple – please…

  Oh, my nifty prog could also convert Type1 tapes into Type2 – separating out the audio, and deinterlace. but I guess that’s a little too much to ask…
