does anyone know if and how the effect at the end of this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-v4iT-MoVVs (were they start to unravel) can be created in after effects 7.0 pro

wow this is indeed a cool effect!
I think this isnt possible to be done in Afx.
Maby post it in the after effects forum(not basics). Some gurus will now.
It is probebly done in maya or something or a plugin i dont know.
