I’m presently working on a Genesis project and while we are in shoot I have access to one of their Display Processors, which is what a DIT would use to generate on-the-fly 3D LUTs for on-set image evaluation.

I’ve developed a number of presets that make a nice image and I would like to keep a few of them for use in other offline ways for this project. We’re uploading a few of these as megagammas to a TrueLight interface for quality work, but I would love to have a 1D representation of them to quickly jam onto my Kona3 for Time Code dubs, etc.

Anyone have any ideas how to port a 3D megagamma or Viper Luther to a 1D for Kona?

Or just how to quickly recreate the curve on some other third-party that at least gets me in the ballpark?

the best app for it would be Iridas Speed Grade, but I believe the luther can save as to a 1D version of the LUT.

then open the kona control panel > display > custom luts

I think you can do the LUT conversion in the demo.
