    Hi Folks

We have converted our edit suites to Kona3 cards and now we’ve installed the Kona2 cards into our Audio Rooms for SDI out.

They work great when scrubbing through the Nuendo time line.

Audio goes out the Lynx I/O card and video out the Kona2.

However, when we export the finished track, in real time, the video output stops playing after about 10 seconds.

Is anyone using a Kona2 with Nuendo and are you seeing this same issue?

No issues here. Nuendo 4, FCP2 with Kona LHe.
Video plays fine during realtime export, 1080i25 format.

    Hi Peter

What we have found is that there is a problem with Nuendo passing video to the KONA card when the video file does not have the same number of lines and the KONA output setting.

For example: If the file is DVCam 720X480 and the KONA is set to output 720X486 then Nuendo stops output to the video card after about 10 seconds of export.

Everything is file if the is 1280X720 and the KONA is set to DVCProHD or if the file is any native KONA aspect ration format.
