    Hi

    Installed the kona mac software codecs on my intel pro and they do not show up. the machine has fcp 5.1.4, IO la, QT 7.1.3 .

    dual 2.66

    are these codecs capable of running on intels?

    which Kona Mac codecs?
    the only one built by aja are the RGB 10 bit versions. and they work just fine on the intel machines.
    DVCPROHD and the XDcam codecs are apples not aja’s

    what is not working?

    I have a file thats the Kona Vuy (not vuy) 1280×720 and i try and open it in quicktime or open in fcp and i get error message: codec not founnd and the quicktime screen is white

    sooo it seems like neither qt nor fcp sees it

    That codec was to see older format clips from Cinewave and others – and that codec will not work without the card installed.
