I ‘ve to PowerMac G5 with a Kona SD Card. I am planing to Upgrade to Final Cut Pro 6 and Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.
This configuration is not mentioned in the “Where are the Blackmagic Kona SD and Kona HD drivers?” Document. Since the driver are incorporated in the standard DeckLink drivers and the DeckLink Drivers will work with FCP6 and 10.5, I am assuming that this configuration will work as well.

    Am I’m right?

has anyone tried this configuration before?

    Kind Regards
    Christoph

I also want to know if BM drivers will work with a Kona SD and FCP 6. In my case, I’m using Tiger. I have installed different versions of the BM drivers but none gives me perfect results. Even though the card is recognized, it doesn’t work all that well. The main problem is a delay when capturing and outputting video.

If anyone can chime in on this (Luke?) it would be appreciated.

    Hello,
I am about to do the Leopard upgrade also with a similar Kona SD card system. Was your upgrade a success?
    Thanks,
    Jim
