I am using Soundtrack Pro on my Mac G5. I edit video with Final Cut Pro. I have a Kona LHe, a Mackie 1402 and a Shure SM7b mic.
Here’s waht I want to do. While I am in the edit bay using Soundtrack Pro to record voice over from a voice talent in another room with the SM7b and a video monitor playing back the timeline of the Soundtrack Multiproject, I want to be able to record while monitoring the timeline and at the same time feed the audio from the timeline to the headphones of the VO talent.

I also want to be able to talkback to the talent in between takes to give direction.

While I want the talent to hear the mix of his voice and the timeline, I don’t want the timeline audio to bleed into his mic. What is the best way to set all this up for best recording using his equipment?

    Thanks
