Kona LHi and 12 channels of audio
OK…here’s the rub. My current setup is a MacPro with a Kona LHi card. But our deliverable requires a 12 channel output… well, it requires audio on 1-4, and then 11-12. THe LHi is limited to 8 channels of embedded via SDI. So the question is, how can I output channels 11-12? I certainly have to do two passes…but how can I map audio to 11-12?

Nevermind. Gonna output to 7-8 and dub to 11-12 when we dub to add in closed captions.

I assume this is an SR output? If so, you could do a separate sequence for just the audio for 11 and 12 and use the LHi’s AES output connected to the 11/12 AES input on the deck. Yeah, you can’t get them all there at once (AFAIK with LHi), but you can still make it happen.
