  • Kona LHe and Final Cut Studio 2 capatibility?

Posted by Khashyar Darvich on May 9, 2007 at 10:29 pm

    Hi Everyone,

I have a Kona LHe as well as Final Cut Studio 1 (FCP 5).

I am thinking of upgrading to Final Cut Studio 2 (FCP 6).

I wonder if the Kona LHe drivers are compatible with FCP 6 (and Final Cut Studio 2), or is there anyone who has had compatibility issues with FCS 2 and the LHe?

    Thanks for your input.

Probably not yet, but I bet you when it is released, a new version of the drivers will be issued in short order to comply with FCS2.

    Thanks Jeremy.

I was going to use the color correction capability of the “Color” application in the new FCS 2 for a project that is at the end of post-production, but I suppose I should wait until Kona can guarantee that the Kona drivers will work with FCS 2.

Will AJA make an official statement when the drivers are ready and released?

I have no doubts about that.
