November 5, 2005 at 12:06 pmYeap, was looking for someone in PAL world also.
Do you have any problems with it?
It looks to me as easy setups are not what they should be. PAL does not use squere pixels. Maybe we should make a small letter to Aja about it. Rest of the stuff looks stable, but I would like to see good easy setups as my editors (I am tech support, not an editor, but have lots of experience in editing too) are having problems.

November 6, 2005 at 10:11 amWhat happens when you play out SD through SDI? My Kona LH Card has a bad signal. When i look at the program in my Studiomonitor everything is ok. When i play out to an Sony IMX Deck i get a jitter as if the field order is incorrect.

November 6, 2005 at 11:55 amHi check your Pal setting in FCP,
the field order should be upeer for 8/10 Bit pal
but i recall seeing lower field order for Pal
when FCP 5 First came out.
Which might explain your problem.Regards

November 6, 2005 at 1:10 pmWe do most of stuff in SD and are sending it via SDI to Betacam SP deck, but we have no such problems.
Which drivers and QT version do you use? Also, which FCP and MacOS version? Maybe there are some problems.
Do you use easy setups for sequences and projects? If that is the case, then check you aspect ratio because (as I already mentioned) it is set to 4:3 square pixels and that is not how it should be in PAL.
