Kona LH drivers for os 10.4.11
Hi there,
I’m wondering is anyone out there has used the 5.1 or the 5.1 NDD drivers on their 10.4.11 systems? I tried them for bout a week and kept getting kernel panics so I downgraded to the 4.0 drivers and things seem to be going reasonably well now (although I have had one kernel panic since).
The reason I’m asking this is that I’m thinking of doing yet another dreaded system reinstallation and wondering whether I should just install the 4.0 drivers or go nuts and try the 5.1 again after the system is back up and running.

I’ve been using 5.1 with OS 10.4.11 for a while. No problems.
Final Cut Studio 2, FCP 6.0.2, Mac OS-X 10.4.11, Quicktime 7.4, After Effects 6.5 Pro, G5 Quad 2.5, Kona-LHe V5.1, 4.5GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce 7800-GT 256MB, G-RAID 2x1TB FW800, 6TB RAID-5 (Enhance E8-ML, Highpoint 2322), Panasonic HVX-200P P2.
